Our Story

Lucy and Tom met on the first day of University in 2020 in sunny Bognor Regis. As musical theatre students, they didn’t do anything normally and within four days had been on their first date, spent every hour together, had their first kiss and made it official.

After Covid hit again and a 3rd lockdown began, they had to spend four months on FaceTime. So as soon as it was lifted, they signed for their first flat together opposite the beach and spent the rest of university living together.

After three years, they graduated together and moved in with Lucy’s parents while they got on their feet. Following some surgery for Lucy, their first holiday abroad to Kos, Greece, lots of random jobs and a fabulous Harry Styles concert, they moved into their own place again in 2025, just a five-minute drive from Lucy’s family.

Tom proposed to Lucy in front of their Christmas tree during their first Christmas in the flat. As a self-proclaimed Christmas Queen, it couldn’t have been more perfect for Lucy.

They are so excited to become Mr & Mrs Dodman, start the next chapter of their lives together, and share their special day with you.
